Restoring a Pro77A I got from Ebay. The two wires that are supposed to be soldered to the antenna receiver input are not connected. One is "Hot" green and white and the other appears to be a ground wire Black and white. It looks like some solder attempts have been made in past. Does it matter where on antenna receiver I solder wires too. Just having the wires touch the metal and it receives fine.

J1, the antenna jack, connects to chassis ground. In your pic it looks like there is a wire also soldered there. It doesn't matter much where you get the chassis ground (keep the wire length reasonable short). The center connection of J1 goes to the junction of R1 & C1 on the PCB. In your pic, that looks like the white/green wire.
