I just started using the Pro96com and had two queations, on what screen and what will it look like with a officer hits there emergency button.
Also I thought I heard that different talk groups will always go thru certain towers something like it is there home tower so no matter if there is a radio from that talk group on that tower or not the talk group traffic will go thru that tower. I hope I expalined that ok. On what screen would I see that?

You'll see (Emer) indicated. The problem is that it will be somewhat hit or miss as the packet that contains that information is typically only transmitted once when the PTT button is pressed on the radio. It will not always be there unfortunately.

There appear to be some instances where this is true, however it's not a guarentee. The system will only transmit a talkgroup from a site that has at least one radio affiliated to that talkgroup on that tower. That being the case, there's never a guarentee that a particular talkgroup will always be on a specific tower site.

That being said, in practice, there will usually be at least one tower site that carries 99% of the traffic. This is usually the closest site geographically speaking for the agency. It's not guarenteed, but it's common.
