I recently saw a flock of P&P folks and all of them were toting Motorola XTS portables, I heard one of them talking on the radio to someone else, sure sounded digital to me. I used to work at the local jail and always saw them, they never had a radio or used any kind of communication other than via cell. Anyone know what frequencies their using or system their on?
FYI It wouldn't be local, all of the local PD channels are analog only.
