Even if it lights up green, it is not fully charged.
I have the same problem, if I use the SAD-18B 10.5V 1A power supply with the CD-41, in this combination it does not fully charge the SBR-14LI battery. After reading the forums, I realized that I need to use a different power supply. Have you solved this problem. What power supply should I use for the CD-41 to fully charge the SBR-14LI battery?

The CD-41 requires a power source that provides 12-16 volts at 600ma. The best match I could find at the time was the Yaesu SAD-24, which provides 12v at 500ma. There may be other newer adapters that provide slightly more power within the acceptable range, but the SAD-24 seems to work well for me.

Thanks for the info. I solved the problem with a suitable 12V 2.2A universal adapter. (y)

My ft3dr was damaged using the cd-41 charger. It is now doa. The radio does not power up. I tried two different batteries and two different cables directly connected to the radio.

I bought charging cradles for a couple of my Yaesu radios that didn't come with them originally, but didn't buy the specified chargers for them. I discovered they weren't fully charging the radios, so I reverted to plugging the chargers into the radios directly instead of going through the cradle. Problem solved...
