problem with ft8

hi
i have a problems with running ft8 with a signalink and ts450s radio the signalink carries on transmitting and i also get a message on my computer saying there is a problem with opening the audio the audio is set for codec for both rx and tx tried uninstalling ft8 and reinstalling it but this does nothind i am using version WSJT-X2.0 with windows 11 hope somebody can help solve this

Double check you Windows audio settings make sure you are using the correct sound card for WSJT-X and it is not sharing the same sound card as Windows. Make sure you have WSJT-X audio set to the Signalink sound card.
Signalink carries on Tx I am not sure what you saying. If the Tx is staying stuck on transmit you could have TX or Dly on SL set to high

Yes the tx is staying stuck on tx so i will check the tx & the dl

Also check the audio output level on the computer, the mic gain on the rig and the ALC. To get a clean signal the ALC should only come up a bar or two. A dummy load can be useful.
