My BCD 536HP will not recieve the MTO snow crews while they do their road checks.

It used to work, but I deleted the system before everybody moved to the new system and when I try now, it does not work.

The radio does say DAT and is connected to an outside antenna. I can sit on the active talk group but nothing changes on my screen or there is no sound

I have tried using Sentinel, Proscan and ARC but nothing has worked. I wonder if something has changed on the system or has RadioReference changed something on their site?

I'd remove every site channel but the control channel. There's a data channel broadcast from every site that is sometimes mistaken for a control channel.

My 536 is receiving MTO Road and Weather reports without any problems.

I'm here a lot
On Jan 12th I updated my Sentinel Full Database list with that version from that day. I then appended it to my LMRN Favourite list. A few moments ago heard MTO Milton. So that works. It has DAT for a moment, full bars then the talkgroup and audio shows up.
For shtzengiggles try the Full Database on LMRN, does it behave the same or different from your Favorite list? I hate using the Full Database personally, it takes forever to do a full cycle due to my 50 Mi. range.

Stupid question: do you have Public Works enabled as a Service Type? Although, you must have it on if it worked at one time before.

My 536 is working fine on LMRN. I made a dedicated favorites with just LMRN in it. This is a lot easier to navigate from the scanner controls than is the Full Database. You may want to go that route.

Public works was on
I always put LMRN in its own favourite

I just cleared my user data and will wait until 3pm and see what happens.

If this does not work I might have to get a copy of someones working file

I've been having the same problem with my SDS 200.

I ended up resetting user settings through the restore options, and this seems to have solved the problem.

Not sure if the 536 has the same menu options FWIW.
