Programing an Icom IC-R10

I have a used R10, I have the owners manual but cannot understand to save my life how to program my scanner for tracking my dogs tracking collars. I do what it tells me and I am missing something, I programed them once before but I had a shortcut list of how to do it and have misplaced it. All I want to do is program the tracking collar numbers in there and just be able to scroll thru the list to track my dogs, does anyone have this info to help me? Thanks

sorry, I don't have any answer but rather a question. yours is the first post I've seen related to my project. I too hunt with hounds and tracking collars. I never sprung for the high dollar tracker though. I'm currently using a Uniden Bearcat handheld. All I get though is a broken "silence" rather than a beep. Likened to someone keying a mic and not talking. When your Icom was programmed and working, were you able to get a beep or any audible signal or like mine?
