Programing the BC246T ????

I just ordered the BC246T and all the talk about having softwear to program it is worring me.. Is the softwear used to download just the 800 mhz or trunking frequencies, or used to program all frequencies? We just program the normal frequencies for police , fire , and ambulance like 155.835 155.475 and 155.550 . can i do the normal frequencies manualy , or do i have to use the softwear for them also ??? You can enter everything manually. The software just makes it sooooooooooooooo much easier and faster to do. Go ahead and give the ARC246 demo a shot. http://www.butel.nl/

Thanks..now i won't worry...a 300 channel bearcat was the biggest one i have owned. This 1600 channel will the a big diffrence with the wider band also.Thanks again
