Is I did upload too the scanner. Trying to send a picture but the file is too big.

I don't see the picture. You Upload to Scanner to write to it. You Download from Scanner to read from it.

It looks like each frequency in a separate system. You only need 1 system. You can put all 5 of the frequencies in a single group on that system. Just click on Add and Channel (Frequency) to add more frequencies to the group.

My pleasure! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
My mind was going a mile a minute trying to figure this out. I printed everything out what you sent me. If I would have put Conventional in the (system) right at the beginning and you told me that. I had NXDN on my mind since Clovis uses NXDN96.
Thanks again

There's a lot of antennas out there for sale. I'm thinking of putting a antenna
There are NXDN trunked systems. In this case, conventional frequencies are used.
There's a lot of antennas for sale out there. Do recommend one for outside, plan on putting one outside after the New Year.

What system would I put the FMN and FM under? Would it still be (Conventional). Want to program the fire department.

Generally speaking, 150 and 450 MHz frequencies are NFM. Low band (30-50) is FM. 'There are exceptions such as VHF marine band and NOAA weather. They are FM. I've seen a lot of good reports about the DPD Productions Omni-X antenna. It is well-built and good from VHF aircraft thru 900 MHz. Discone antennas don't do all that well with the higher frequencies.

So, with the antenna that came with BCD996P2 scanner, I can hear dispatch talking and one police talking back. Then I might here the dispatcher only, same as the police. Is that because of my antenna. The DPD Production Omni-X antenna has a lot of good reports like you said. Thats the antenna I plan on getting later. It's setup for every frequency. Plan on putting it in the attic for a while until I figure out where to put it outside.

If you are listening to conventional frequencies, look at the Type column in the database. If it is RM, they are using a repeater and you will hear both sides of the conversation. If the Type is BM (base/mobile), you will hear the mobiles only if they are nearby. An outside antenna will help with the distance you are able to receive them. Ok, then it's my antenna that need to be upgraded. Because its RM for Clovis police here. Everything that comes across on the scanner is clear from the dispatcher and sometime when the police response but then quite so it's probably the distance. Thanks
