I travel through Delaware to OC MD. I'd like to monitor the DSP unencrypted N/C/S zones and SW TG's. I'm not a resident, so I'm not interested in local PDs, Fire Companies, etc. I am somewhat confident that I have programmed Zones N (NCC) C (Kent) correctly. For the South zone (Sussex) would I just enter the frequencies for Sussex?

If you enter the frequencies for Sussex County "only" you will need to operate the scanner in the search mode. You will hear everything on the south system(police, fire, ems, facilities, spca, etc.). You should also program the specific talk groups you are interested in monitoring.

Go to the TRS database, click on the State of Delaware system, there you will find all the frequencies for Sussex County zone. Also you will find the talk groups you should enter. For Sussex you might want to program the local police channels, as some of the small town are dispatched by DSP but perform a lot of operations on their own talk group.

Yes. Site 003 is the one you want to program. 104 is identical. Then scan through the talkgroup listings on the TRS database, paying particular attention to those designated "S" or "K/S" and choose those of interest.
