Question on programming. I have a few agencies I monitor. Some are conventional UHF , some are P25 TRS, about 20 different frequencies total. I have them on one Quick key now. Would it be better to split up the P25’s on different keys to make the scan rate faster? Or it would not make a difference?

I tried that, going from Two quick keys down to one and I couldn't see any difference in scan speed, since I wondered the same thing.

As mentioned above, the scan rate remains the same regardless of how many quick keys if any you use. The advantage of quick keys is you can turn favorites or systems or departments on or off depending on what you want to listen to. This helps manage the issue with "the more you scan, the less you hear."
