This may sound stupid but how should you program txwarn into a RadioShack pro 197 would it be TxWARN or TXWARN?

Given the fact that TxWARN is P25 Phase-II capable you'll only be able to pick up talkgroups ID'ed as mode "D" using your Pro-197. Mode "T" talkgroups are TDMA and for those you'll need a Phase-II/TDMA capable scanner. Mode "DE" and "TE" talkgroups are fully encrypted and cannot be tracked by any receiver not intended to operate on the system

yes all of the talk groups I am programming are all digital with no encryption and I was talking about the spelling
