Can anyone please help me program a radio shack pro-433 for the warren county and bowling green trunked system? Have tried but cant get it to work right! ANY help will be greatly appreciated. only way i can listen to them now is to use the search function to listen to them!<---- very annoying this way!

thanks

I have no experience with the Pro-433. However, have you been able to program in any Talk Group ID's? Without them I don't think you can scan (since you don't have any channel's to scan, the scanner will only let you search). Try saving a channel next time if stops on one in the search mode and then try to scan, I believe that it should then scan the ID's you saved.

Other than that I would re-read the manual and start over again, programing. I have had to do that on several occasions and eventually I get it right. If the only problem is scanning then you are close to making it work. Are you going at it by keypad or using a computer?

Hope this helps.

If you need to clear your head on trunking, we have several excellent FAQs linked in our wiki here Stick with the basics first, then read up on the type of systems that Warren county and Bowling Green use (check the database for that).

Any time. Let me know if you still need help. You will find the people on this site and board are very helpful. And as ka3jjz eluded too, take some time to read the articles and information on this site and wiki pages. They have helped me immensely.
