Older web references refer to free downloadable windows programming software. I can't seem to find a download. Is this software discontinued or available?

Did you look on the Uniden website for software downloads for the radio? They should have it. I don't have the 75 but I have the 125AT and I got my software from there.

You can always try my free/charity ware Scan75

Scan75 Control Program (nick-bailey.co.uk)

I have an updated version that is much enhanced to Scan125 level/capabilities which I can release but I'm waiting for feedback from a couple of SR30C scanner users. I may have to ignore then and go with the new release to help all 75 scanner users.

Good thought, thanks.
Keep in mind though. That Freescan has not been updated by the author, since 2016. Also, The BC75XLT comes with UHF/VHF capability. But cannot be upgraded for P25, DMR n' NXDN. Both your scanner, and Freescan. Would have to be replaced with something more capable.

I mainly use the 75XLT for railfanning as it does very well with the VHF high band rail frequencies. I have an embarrassingly large collection of more capable scanners for other scanning activities. :giggle:
