Programming State Sites

Dumb question on programming my 436HP. Do I need to program in the tower frequencies for the 3 state towers closest to me. (Desmet,Madison,Mitchell) if I use TGIGS. I am using sentinel.

I dont know much about that radio but you need to program the sites into your radio that you will be near. If you live in Mitchell you only need Mitchell in. If your going to travel around you'll need each of those sites programmed in. Make sense?

Thanks for the info. I can remove a few sites off my scanner and hopefully it picks more up.

i would have all sites in there that you can recieve....
