Programming UID'S

Hi to all.
I have been reading and getting more confused on how to program UI'S in a 996xt.
Where on a 996xt is the place to add alpha tags.
I use FreeScan and see nothing on there that says Alpha tagging.
I am monitoring Morris County Police and Fire. Sites 2 & 3.
Where do I find a list of UID'S for the areas.

In freeSCAN you need to add a talkgroup to the system, label it Unit ID Names and then enter the ID number with an i before the number (i12345657) under TGID, the display line is where you add the Alpha tag. You will need to capture the UID's for yourself and you only have room for a total of 500 Talk groups and UID's per system. I don't have a 996xt and don't know if they can display UID's, but this is what works for a 396XT.

996XT can display UID'S.

Go into settings and turn on unit id’s.
