BCD325P2/BCD996P2: Programming Uniden BCD996p2

I recently purchased Uniden BCD996p2 scanner and paid to local frequencies installed. I want to add more frequencies using FreeScan software. Can someone please walk me through how to add frequencies using FreeScan software.

A tip: It is highly recommended to read the current programing from the radio into FreeScan and save a backup of it before starting to modify your programming. Create a new file before adding new frequencies/talkgroups, etc.

As long as you are programming Analog or P25 Digital FREESCAN will work for you but If you have or plan to add DMR or NXDN then FREESCAN will not work for you and you will need to buy PROSCAN or one of the other pay programs that will work for you.
