I have gotten a strong control channel in the Kingstree area on 938.500, no activity so can't confirm, but I believe it to be Progress Energy going online with it's 900 system. Have used Trunker, and only gotten 1 voice channel, and it conincides with FCC database freqs for PE. Has anyone else tried any control channel reception near them for PE? The system ID is 882c, gives me cell site 16, and have heard a few comms in the last few minutes to make me believe it is Progress Energy, but want to further evaluate before posting.

Have had plenty of activity on Florence and Darlington cells, particularly after the fairly recent ice storm that had PE crews working so late. Prior to this year, I didn't pick up much activity at all on their 900 system, but plenty on the old conventional 400 MHz freqs. 882c is indeed Progress Energy.
