Sorry to come into this thread so late, but you have to use WME9's screen capture and then capture a portion of the screen. For this to work ProScan must run and load in the same place all the time. I'm doing it now on my ProScan test feed. You'll see scanmassachusetts.no-ip.com in the ProScan client list, but if you want to see it via the WME rebroadcast check the test feed at mms://streamwebtown.com/scancapecod . Audio and video delay is about 30 seconds from actual time as I'm pushing to a remote server, but it seems to work well.

I have the ProScan program up and working but the Encoder keeps on saying that the "Input Media is Invalid". The Audio is recording correctly. Anybody have any idea?

Are you running XP? I should have indicated in my last post that XP seems to be the only platform that can share a soundcard's input with multiple programs.

ScanCapeCod, yes I do have Windows XP. I have a SigmaTel audio card. All I have is a Microphone in port. I have put the Microphone boost on. I don't think I have a "Line-In" port. I'm getting a "hummm". Help!!

Shut the mic boost off, that usually does more harm than good. If this doesn't work out for you, Creative Labs manufactures USB Soundblaster devices that are inexpensive and provide an excellent sound for scanner feeds. If you're running XP there is no reason why you can't share a single audio input for two or more programs, unless it just doesn't like your sound card for some reason.

Uplink, how does this device connect between my 796D scanner and my microphone port on my computer?

It's a stereo filter so you don't have to use both sides. Just get RCA male to 1/8" plug adapters or adapter cables and put it in line between your speaker out to line input on the sound card, you might want to use an 1/8" plug attenuator cable if you use the mic input. You can get all this from radio shack or All Electronics.
