anyone know what frequency the providence pd uses now a days?
everything i have found is quiet.

Check the database here or the Wiki at Scan New England. They have moved to an 800 MHz P25 trunked system. All but their CH1 is encrypted.

the providence fire department has also moved to the P25 800mhz trunked system called RISCON

Double whammy for the FD. 800 and d--ita-. Although the 800 does have better penetration into buildings, so I guess it depends on their system.

yeah, i found that after i learned how this board works. i thought there was no activity here except for 5 or 6 topics until i finally sawhow to make more show and found my answers. thanks for the replys and patience for this noob.
