Actually it did, but I believe a fix has been implemented and tested. Hopefully it will be in the next update, along with some other fixes.
Well, without a ProVoice channel to tell for sure, I still have it showing in my upgrade menu as being there and activated. (I checked before my reply, above.)

It no longer correctly decodes ProVoice, has nothing to do with it "appearing" in your scanner as an upgrade.

Cabe the SDS150-Beta Unit supples a little over 30 watts of power. this is not a representation of that the SDS150 will ask for, it is a total amount the cable will supply.

The first time he released beta firmware for the then new DMR upgrade I was a bit nervous. Still it all worked out and quickly became routine.

It is not that hard. UPMan had us try BETA FIRMWARES for the x36's and SDS's all the time.

I updated my SDS200 to the latest shown above and encountered a display problem. When I wanted to change the colors of certain items on the Detailed Trunk screen, it was backwards.

Setttings ---> Display Options ---> Customize ---> Set Detailed Trunk

By that I mean, I went to this menu to see all of the fields lit up in their current colors and the middle softkey is T-COLOR (text) and the right softkey is B-COLOR (background). This applied to every field that I tried. For example, when I went to the SYSTEM NAME field, and then pressed the middle softkey to change the text color from white to green, the BACKGROUND color changed to green. Similarly, if I went to the FAVORITE LIST NAME and pressed the right softkey to change the background color from red to green, then the text color would change to green.

I turned my radio off, then back on, and went back to adjust colors and after doing that, the color combinations worked as expected. I hate these kinds of bugs because I have no idea what triggered this. I just thought I'd mention it in case anyone else ran across it. I also cannot pin the cause on this version of firmware. I can tell you it definitely wasn't operator error. I took careful notes.

It's like that on my SDS100E as well as SDS200E.

If I go to the first field of F for function, in any display mode, it is as default set to inverted colors of white as background and black as text.
If I edit that field by the T button, or in the menu, it will show that the text are set to white and the B button will show black as the back color, the opposite of what it is actually set to.

If I then change color of T it will instead change the background color. And the same mismatch happens with the B color.

It first looks okay as the function to indicate where the cursor are have not been set to blinking but to instead switch text and background color between each other. But that somehow creates a bug in the firmware so that B and T settings are swapped between each other in edit mode.

Some other fields work as they should but System Name and Favorites have the same issues with B and T color settings that are actually switched between each other. But not always. The F field always has that bug but the two other fields randomly show that color bug.

I would say that in certain fields, F-System-Favorite (haven't found any others), the firmware code are reading what colors the display are currently showing instead of what are set and stored in the memory of the display configuration.

@jjn555 or @Ubbe ,

I'm trying to replicate the issue on my SDS200 to no avail, please send me step by step how to reproduce then I will test and send to Beta Testers and UJE.

I'm on The E versions of SDS using firmware 1.23.15 which is the latest.

Go to the scanners Menu/Display Options/Customize/Set Simple Conventional
but any display mode will do.

Cursor will be at top line first character position.

Cursor position are indicated by swapping text color with background color. Move cursor to next position to see what the first character will use for its colors. It will default as black text on white background.

Go back to first position over the F and push either the T-Color or B-Color buttons.

It will show what the current color are set to and will incorrectly show white for text and black for background.
If you edit the text color from white to anything else it will instead change the background color.
The top of the display edit mode says Set Text Color but it alters the background color.

This sometimes also happens to System and Favorite color selections but in an unpredictable way.

Took me awhile to find it but this is by design according to the protocol doc for the SDS100/200
