LOL. Seems like someone was caught trying to affiliate to a system in which they did not have permission to be on.

There are legit people here that will help you out with programming issues.

There are people here that will likely take all the programming from you radio, clone it to their own, and use it.
There are those that would take the programming out of your radio and share the data to the database.

Gotta use your brain, especially if this is your agency radio. Sharing -any- agency radio data with anyone who is not authorized is probably covered in something you've signed at some point, and would definitely fall under the "Think twice, this may be a career ending event" thing.

NAS, well, you get what you deserve, and we're happy to see it happen.

Thats a shame people are doing this to those seeking assistance. I have no issue with helping someone so they dont make a mistake and register with a system. Yes, you do need to be carful on who you share it with. I know NAS is a touchy subject and Motorola is something you really have to know. Harris and some other SU are not so bad to deal with. The things I cant stand is when someone ask for sys keys or ways to add TG's to an agency radio. Thats a huge no.no.

Our system will fully implement Link Layer Authentication in the future. Any Duplicate or Bootleg radios will be kicked off immediately.

In June 2024, Agents from the Columbia, Maryland Field Office of the FCC’s Enforcement Bureau (Bureau) conducted an investigation and determined that the source of interference to the Stafford County System was a radio transmitting signals in an attempt to self authenticate and thereby gain access to the Stafford County System. The signals were emanating from a handheld Motorola APX7000 two-way radio that generated a unique identification code and had apparently been illegally programmed to operate on Stafford County System’s licensed frequencies.
