Today is the 18th, that was the date they were shooting for. This is an example of what was shared in the area. For those that need to run encrypted or interop with them, 18 august was the date they were working toward.

Sensitive info like PII etc etc, items like that. Also, ease of use for a firefighter to just use a PTT on a radio versus a cell phone when they have all their PPE on

Looks like most Eastide LE has encrypted units but dispatchers are in the clear.

SPD was also similar, and I've heard SPD Data has gone fully encrypted.

KCSO was still in the clear last I heard.

WSP also in the clear.

I was told Enumclaw PD was in the clear.

Just heard Issaquah PD dispatcher transmit to all units and announce they're switching to encryption. Weee!

Couldn't sleep last night so listened to NCPOL1. It seemed some of the dispatch tranmissions were E.
Cpl weeks ago could've sworn SPD's Data Channel was part Enc.

Guessing it's only a matter of time now... :-(

Well some silverlining. KCSO - at least North and Southwest Patrols, are clear tonight. Can't speak for the Tacs.
