Shopify is an e-commerce platform. A small company like this can’t afford to have in-house staff to develop, maintain and secure an e-commerce website … especially one that processes credit cards.

Understood, but the number of Ecommerce sites that advertise on Facebook (eg. $2000 massage chair being sold for $99, or a $800 Generator being sold for $119) leaves me a little skeptical. All have Shopify accounts.
