PSR-300 and LTR talk groups

has anyone programed the 300 to a LTR system? if so how do you put talk groups in? when i put the talkgroups in i get invalid id value. tryed to program it like the 97

I have verified your problem, it will not accept a direct entry of an LTR talkgroup ID as x-xx-xxx. This is the same on the PSR-400 and I'm sure it is on the Radio Shack Pro-163 and 164, since these radios are all the same. I have notified GRE about the problem via support. The good news is that the firmware is upgradeable, so lets see how long it takes them to correct the problem.

Have you been able to save an active talkgroup using "Ent"?

yes i have been able to save one as it came up while just scanning the freqs but cant enter nothing want take

Good news, I got word back from GRE. Support has confirmed that the issue exists and will post a firmware update on the GRE America web site in the near future.

Thank god for the upgradable firmware! Otherwise that would be a big ugly flaw in the scanner forever..
