PSR 500 Help

Hello...I just received my PSR500 today. I figured I would load my local TRS into it via one of the available control pgm's , get that going & then get into figuring out how this new radio works.

That was the plan anyway. But of course it did not work out. I imported my local TRS via RR's database. I logged on ,chose my system (below) & imported away. It's nothing real fancy ,just a regular Moto type2 with Analog and APCO-25 CAI. Anyway I checked via the software , I've tried the main three, Win500 PSRedit & ARC & sure enough my local system is indeed in my radio.

The problem is all I am hearing is the FD/EMS trans. No PD ! I must have done something wrong but I do not know what. My brother has a 996T & it's sitting here hearing everything. It's almost like my PD & everything associated is "turned off" somehow. All the tg's for the PD were imported & show up. All the freqs for the system are there. I just can't hear them (the police trans). Nothing obvious is locked out or anything.

If I can get everything working re my local TRS I promise I will not pepper the group with alot of already asked/answered stuff.

Group...I just discovered my "problem"...for some reason when I imported my local TRS only the FD portions were active in scan list #1 the rest were not associated to any "scan list". I made the necessary change(s) & I now receive everything needed.

Now to figure this radio out. So far so good...I guess.

Good deal Rob. Glad you got it going. And darnit, I was really looking forward to you peppering us all with previuosly asked/answered questions. I always like when that happens
