When you have a statewide milti-site system programmed in (WVIRP/SIRN), what's the best way, if any, to specify a single site without having to remove or lockout the sites you don't want? Unless someone else has a better way, I copied the V-Scanner folder to another one and then just locked out the sites that I didn't want. Today was the first time that it was finding and use another site that did not broadcast the local county and state traffic. The site it was listening on did not simulcast the traffic I wanted to hear.

Thanks.

I do exactly what you did for P25 systems -- load a system entirely, then copy the system and lock out/down to only what I want to use (sites or frequencies). I just put each in a different scanlist.

I have some programming with all three:
- full load (sites and frequencies)
- single sites (all frequencies)
- single site (single frequency)

They each can serve a purpose....depends on the system....

Thanks. I wasn't sure if there was another way or not. I wanted to keep the trunked sites names the same so the updates would work correctly and save a lot of manual updating.
