There seem to be several posts in another forum on how to tweak P25 decode settings for the Uniden 396/996 models and the best settings for decoding LSM CQPSK Simulcast systems on the 396/996.

Are there any tips or tricks for the PSR-800 that could be put in this thread (or start a wiki)? Specifically, any tips for clearing up decode on many of the newer TDMA X-2 systems being monitored in metro DC area or the CA, FL, WA areas, etc?

Also, are there any settings for PSR-800 that can only be accessed either by keyboard or by EZ-Scan sw and not vice-versa that people should know about?

Please post comments, tips, tricks and suggestions here...

I am not sure what bands the stock antenna is designed for. I mostly listen to an 800MHZ, analog, trunked system. My best "reception tweak" was picking up a big & ugly, 9 inch, 800MHZ antenna off Ebay for $6.

Assuming everyone has already gotten rid of the stock antenna, I was looking for suggestions on settings like AGC, encode levels, etc.
