I have tried Whistler Legacu CPU updater 4.8 and 4.5, I tried EZ software...But only getting : Error - Turn Off

Have you tried to use the whistler 1080 software?
Was this a factory job you paid for or is this a prs800 you bought online?
What was the firmware version before you tried the upgrade?

I did recovered using CPUUpdater_0602902_F1.5 , but obviously I lost previous software with DMR. I Don't know if it was updated by Whistler or not, I bought it with already uploaded Whistler soft, now lost.

If it was one made under the Whistler logo and you tried to use any of the older software, you have found your problem. Whistler did little to change the radio but did improve the firmware with the factory upgrade and changes to EZ Scan.

If the scanner had the bootleg firmware and not the official legacy upgrade, it bricks the scanner when you try to update the firmware. You can send it to Whistler for the upgrade but they charge extra for bricked scanners.

If you bought it off ebay or somewhere else online and it turns out the scanner has the bootleg firmware, the seller should have disclosed that. A scanner that can't get the free upgrades without paying Whistler $120 to repair it (I think that is the charge, going from memory) isn't worth nearly has much as one that has Whistler-supported firmware. But as suggested, make sure you are using the Whistler EZScan software and not the GRE iScan software.
