Is there anyone in Mobile County using this Psr 300 scanner with the county frequencies programed in? Do you have the end of transmit beep beep on the County system. I have programed my Psr with the Springhill Tower and I can't get rid of the beep at the end of the trunking site. I follow instructions but still can't get rid of the beep.

Presuming this is the Mobile County AL EDACS system...

Are all of the system's "channels" set to EDACS mode? Is the bank itself set to EDACS?

How long is the beep? In my experience with the PSR-300, between 2 and 50 mS of 4800Hz beep at the end of an EDACS voice transmission is "normal". (I've actually seen 2-11 mS here in the last few minutes, but "fudged" it up to 50 mS for the purposes of this post).

I finally found my problem by getting a cable and uploading my tower frequencies. I could not manually get the trucked edacs to go in on the mode button, so when I saw a few not set to edacs and changed it on the software, and uploaded back to the scanner, it still did not work, so i UPLOADED the second time and it started trunking. I t seems that there is error occcuring manually or maybe I am not pressing the buttons or something is going on. But right now it is trunking the edacs I wanted. I think the Mode is not doing what it shoujld sometimes. Anyone else noticed this? Thanks for reply.
