Can anyone advise if the PSR500 or PSR600 (if anyone has the 600) can monitor I-CALLS? And if so-what systems-i.e.-motorola uhf, vhf or 800?

Thanks a million

Yes. I listen to I-calls on an Mot Type II 800Mhz system and on an Apco25 406-410Mhz system with no problems.

Thanks a million guys. If the radio does i-calls, it's definitely a winner. Oh yeah, if the radio is in the scan mode, what talkgroup would I need to enter (if any) in order to receive i-calls?

What's the private wildcard? It used to be 700000 on the Uniden 780 & 796?
Thanks again

Wildcard is the term GRE uses for searching all radio traffic within a system. There are two settings. One is Wildcard Group to receive all TGID's and the other is Wildcard Private for receiving I-Calls. You do not use iooooo or i70000 like Uniden does.

Those are Uniden scanners - not at all related to the PSR500... It's pretty straight-forward in the manual, what exactly is confusing?

Thanks to all replies. I don't have the 500/600 yet and my pro-96/2096 radios don't receive i-calls. My only experience with i-calls was with my 780 & 796 radios. Sounds like I need to purchase a 600.

Thanks again
