There are no VHF frequencies in the database for Puget Sound Energy (just the old EDACS system for gas), so I've been doing some research trying to find their voice electric repair dispatch.

Here's what I've found:

153.68 MHz (http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/licenseFreqSum.jsp?licKey=2585433):
"5120 to South King"
South King: "check out outages 28822 pac highway south
29426 pac highway so
30110 36th place so"
5120: Those locations should be back on already.
South King: Ok, let me make a few phone calls before heading over there.

173.35 MHz (http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/licenseFreqSum.jsp?licKey=1895423): unknown

Found lots of other licenses but they seem to be data (SCADA or something).

Know where I would find Kitsap County dispatch?

More on 153.68:
5180 central 2
This is Heather
...
X2435 all three blades
Permission to close.
...
X2435 good close on all three blades

I wonder what Central 2 is.

Edit: Central 2 might be near Olympia. They mentioned equipment with "Belmore" in the name.

You hearing voice there? I think I tried those two and heard data, but I didn't take any notes so I can't say for sure.

I know I've heard voice on at least one. Heard data on neither. I'll go fire up my battlestation and get back to you.

EDIT:Just heard voice on 153.545

So I've been hearing voice on 153.545 and it's for sure electric. Talking about copper wiring, and needing flaggers on the road.

153.635 PSE confirmed. I confirmed this years ago when we had our first outage here on Bainbridge island

Thanks, lots of activity here. I've been listening trying to understand the context. They've been talking about 3-phase, so it is indeed electric stuff. They mentioned Poulsbo. However, I can only hear one side of the conversation. Think it's a repeater input, or just simplex? By the quality of the dispatch signal, my guess is that it's simplex with a remote base for dispatch.

p.s. Glad you have power and internet on Bainbridge (assuming you're home). I heard utilities were hit pretty hard there.

bbaljh, where did you get that list ? I have that same list printed out here on my desk. Forgot where I got it from but would like to contact the person who made it.

Nice, bballjh copied most of that info off Intercept without giving credit.

I compiled my list from my own logs and from this chart Washington State Frequencies

No offense as I'm new here but that is absolutely not true. I looked it up where Atomic Taco said and found the Puget Sound Energy list here: WA State - InterceptRadio.com Wiki

What you posted was a cut-n-paste from there. How can you sit here and say you compiled it from your own logs when you obviously took it from there ? All I was asking for was who made that list and it obviously is not you.

Thanks for the heads up Atomic Taco !

ACTUALLY as you will clearly see from the intercept list: InterceptRadio.com Search It is lacking information that my list so happens to contain. I compiled my list from my own logs and from this chart Washington State Frequencies

That is very interesting, since the list you posted is i-freaking-dentical to the one in the Intercept wiki, as shown on the link below.

WA State - InterceptRadio.com Wiki (scroll 3/4 of the way down the page)

I notice in the rr.com archives you've already had issues with intellectual property theft. Going for a second one?

That is exact down to the 5 quotations in the 158.145 line and the "Skagit Co. ,(" on the 153.620 line...

I would definitely say that is copied and pasted... Just because you type in caps, doesn't make you more right... The top 6 might be your finds, but the rest is a copy/paste, incomplete or not, at least change the format when you use someone else's work so you don't end up looking like a goon...

As you can see the info that you are talking about has not been added to this site so I think
that should be the end of this.
