This question is directed to those members that are familiar with (and use) the PulsePoint
App.

PulsePoint is an application that provides EMS CAD information.

For Tulsa CO, it provides near real-time
EMSA CAD data, which are generally the same as TFD because they invariably respond concomitantly.

I was wondering if other apps are available providing different forms of emergency service CAD information (ie police or sheriff CAD)

The TPD “Real Time Calls” feature available on their website is about 45-75 minutes delayed and displays about 50% of calls (in my estimation,) and I can certainly understand and appreciate why the info is not real-time.

However, there are many cites and municipalities that actually provide “real time” (or near real time) CAD.

One example of the many is the
California Highway Patrol - the CAD data
provided on their website updates every few minutes.

I was simply wondering if an App exists that provides this type of information.

Thanks.

Not sure if there's a comparable App, but what I can tell you as a user of PulsePoint is that the pages are in real time for me based on hearing it on the scanner as well, but some pages don't make it to PulsePoint and that may be by the department's decision. That and well, even some MVAs never made it on PulsePoint. That could either be technical failure either at the CAD or with PulsePoint themselves or maybe dispatch didn't want to send the page to PulsePoint. But for me personally using PulsePoint in my area it's been at least 98% accurate and in real time based on my observations.

PulsePoint is more than EMS, it's Fire, too. They also have an App that will help find the location of an AED.

Prior to using PulsePoint myself I rolled my own system with my dispatch only scanner using a combination of page tone detection, Windows TeamSpeak server, VNC server, ZeroTier, and their smartphone/Tablet Apps. Yes, TeamSpeak has an App. The VNC protocol has an App and so does ZeroTier, the reverse VPN.

Cannot speak for Tulsa but for the OKC Metro PulsePoint works fairly well for calls last I used which was a while ago. EMS calls will show up but not no physical address for safety reasons other than a general location. MVA's will show their reported location when called in, same with fires ect. Delay is minimal. There will be some smaller departemtns that will start inputting CAD calls on their agencies website soon in our general area but thats TBD. No other apps for this im afraid of that im aware of.

@Drkatzjr45 PulsePoint gets the information from the agencies, so how well it works depends on the amount of access the agency grants it, it is probably the best app out there. If there are other apps they would be limited by the same constraints as PulsePoint and wouldn't be able to provide anything more than what the agency lets them do.

Because OKC has chosen not to provide the information to Pulse Point. And Tulsa only has Tulsa EMSA not all calls.

I would bet funding. The western devision has been throwing money at anything and everything to stay "top notch" for the longest time. Money doesnt last forever.

Yep. The call centers here in Central NC provide the feeds to Pulsepoint. And they are almost real time. Can't get much closer than what is provided on PP.
Well worth the download.

Since the first of the year EMSA in Tulsa has been non-existent on PP app.
