Enjoy your new radio. Personally, I am not enamored with the x36 radios, at least the 536 for reasons I have already listed before. But if you are happy, that is all that matters.

Is this why my 536 came back from Uniden with a white screen instead of a blue screen when it was repaired? Did they move away from the blue screen? Because I turned it on and thought there was something wrong with me

The white is the updated fix for dimming issues.
That sentence in their Return Policy worries me: "There, you’ll be able to see the amount you’ll be credited for your return and print a shipping label. " Does that mean you would NOT be refunded FULL amount?

I saw that coupon.....when I looked closer it had 'small print' limiting the value to $35.00. While that's still a good discount.....I would prefer it was not misleading which it could be if you don't happen to see the limit...

Okay, I owe the thread an update on Jet.com. My radio did arrive on Thursday was ordered on Saturday. Not bad shipping. The radio is a newer one and was new in box.
My issue with Jet.com still remains. The communications on shipping are lacking. It wend 4 days without an update, just said pending. When I finally saw an update, the item was 1 day from delivery. In the end I got a good deal, $351 for a new 436, delivered.

They must have changed the coupon value. When I originally tried the coupon code it took $50.00 off of the price.
When I order my HP-2, updates on shipping and delivery was lacking. But did get the scanner in a timely matter! I have ordered from Jet.com a couple of times and always got my items shipped pretty quickly. Maybe in time they will improve on communication as they are a fairly new company.
There are a several coupon codes that you can use that takes between $30 to $50 off order. It depends on which one you use.
Use APPLE15, it will take up to $50 off

I've never used Jet before....do they accept PayPal? I couldn't tell just by browsing the site. I'm assuming you won't know until you go to the payment page of the cart.....

No, but if you use a debit card, they will take an additional 1.5% off

I bit the bullet and decided to order my 436 from Jet.com yesterday, 4/14. Payment was processed immediately and in the confirmation email thanking me for my order, I clicked on the order number and was able to get shipping information right then and there by clicking on "Track Package". Label was created this morning and I have an estimated delivery of this coming Tuesday by 4:30. So far....so good.
Some of the people on here said that they couldn't find any shipping information. Is the "Track Package" next to the Reorder button something new?

when you say was a "newer one", do you mean one that has the new display and no display issues? if so, i will order one from Jet. did u ask to make sure u were getting new and "fixed", or what did you do?
