Is it possible to hear this? It is duplex and it 11 drive away from location. I just figured I would try it.

Most of the systems like that are lower power and cover about 2-3KM but if they have an external antenna then you have a good chance of picking them up. Do not worry about the duplex. just program the 460.6625 and see if you hear anything. if they are DMR you may only hear the data buzz until you set the modulation to DMR.

If you are that close to them I would program the freq into your 325 and park near the hospital. this will confirm the channel is active and what the user sounds like. From there you can move further away until you get home or loose them. FYI at the distance of 11KM you almost certainly will want to be using an external antenna too.
