I had a request to add area DPS for Eastland County into my feed for Eastland Co and I'm interested in doing so. I am currently broadcasting with a homepatrol. Still very new to it and was wondering which system I would need to put into the favorites? I was thinking Abilene but not sure. Should I just include all of DPS or just region 6 frequencies? Thanks for any help.

Eastland County is in between several DPS repeaters. The closest one is probably May (north of Brownwood) on 155.4675 which is dispatched by Abilene. I think that is the one I heard the past couple times I drove through on I-20.

It is always a good idea to program in all DPS frequencies in CSQ or NAC search mode. The database info is outdated in some parts of the state and they have been adding some new repeaters in some areas the past few years. They also appear to have talkaround channels with different NACs than what the base stations and repeaters use.

I think I have picked up Base B (the frequency you gave me), I tested putting in all frequencies to see if I would be interested in including it with my feed but it started have issues with cutting transmissions from Eastland with having 100+ frequencies loaded. :/ Thanks for the reply.
