Question IL State Police Dist 10 .

I found the audio link for all ISP Post but Dist 10 was not listed. Can anyone provide a audio link where Dist 10 post can be heard.??? I am in Indianapolis,In and use to hear them on 42.54 and Effingham post on 42.52 on the scanner with a outdoor antenna at 40 Feet. Thanks.

You can probably pick up ISP District 10 off one of the County feeds on Broadcastify. District 10 encompasses Champaign County, Douglas County (Tuscola) and Coles County (Charleston/Mattoon). The Illinois State Police has gone to regional dispatch centers and I think District 10 is handled by Pontiac. The District 10 cars still use X identifier (like X-47) since there are so many 10 codes.

Champaign County which emcompasses Champaign City, Urbana, Rantoul abd several other small towns are on their own P25 Motorola system which is very easy. You might catch more ISP traffic on the Coles or Douglas County feed.

I live in D-10 and have found no link on Broadcastify. ISP no longer uses low band radio, They are using Starcom21, Digital trunking radios.
D-10 is very large area and I am amazed no one has put them on Broadcastify.

D6 does dispatch for D10.. I was there today and heard x-46 calling Pontiac with routine traffic

I live in Monticello Il between Decatur and Champaign, I hear D-10 Pesotum D-21 Askum D-6 Pontic all dispatched from the Pontic comm center, I also hear D-9 Springfield, I am picking them up off the towers in Champaign and Pesotum. I use a Radio Shack PRO 652 with the short antenna that came with the scanner.
