Hey guys,

I have a question regarding the Kenora area.

I'm hoping someone can answer

Is Zone 4 in the Kenora District still active ? I used to get them from my cabin in the Whiteshell along the border of Ontario now I don't hear anything. My scanner was programmed for a Custom Band Plan, now I see that's not in the description anymore. I updated my scanner to database and still nothing.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

You'll definitely still need the band plan for FleetNet.

The control channels may have changed since FleetNet is being transitioned to a new system and it's caused some frequencies to shift. Give a scan through the 141-143 MHz range and see if you find any SmartZone (analog) or P25 data channels kicking up noise, might lead you to find something.

Not sure how many active users here are up that way to chime in, unfortunately.
