Do any changes need to be made in DSD+ to receive D star? All I get is random characters.

What version are you using?

HINT: The fastlane version decodes D-Star audio.

If you're using the latest Fastlane version, you'll need to make sure the following is checked in the event log menu:

I am using 1.101.

Again with the hint... fastlane decodes D-Star to audio

It doesn't decode D-Star voice.
