If you can get an ST-2 antenna for outdoor antenna for HP-2 you will be amazed at the extra reception you get.

Sting, I have seen they are a little hard to come by these days, since they stop making them. My plan is to go with the Diamond D130J discone, I have all band needs around here.

But yeah, I have heard nothing but great things about the ST-2. I envy you if you have one...

It is true of what you have heard of them. I'm so glad I bought 2 extra ones as I have 2 already up. The wind can damage them as I have one that has been replaced a few times. Then again I have another one that has been up for 20 years+ now.
