Does it make sense to bring Unication G5 or scanner to Montreal to listen to fire as I do not speak French?

If it were me I would bring a scanner only, (however I do speak french) it would still be cool to hear the difference in page out techniques or tones etc,
It appears they are digital only, some channels DE, there would be other thing to listen to in english as it is not entirely in french other comms that is , As I sit over morning coffee I am glad I brought along my scanner to Hawaii big Island , we went up to the Volcano and in the National Park I found a new P25 rptr in use in the park. So bring it you might surprise yourself.
