I just got a 'used' R20. So far it's great, but I notice a 'buzz' on USB, LSB, and CW...gets worse as I lower the RF gain. Really hear it with earphone. Is this normal?

It seems that the FCC is allowing imported electronics (plasma TVs for example), to create a noisy environment.
I know of a ham, who has neighbor with a plasma TV, that when he turned on his HF radio for an 80 meter net, the plasma TV completely wipes out a good portion of the band.
I don't think that the buzz is hear is 'external' to the R20. After posting on here I found a review of the R20 by N9EWO which says "Other than a bit of a low level buzz mixed in, SSB modes work well." I think that buzz is what I'm hearing. It's less noticeable with strong SSB signals.
Does anyone know what that buzz is and whether some internal shielding will attenuate it?
