R30 FM broadcast band reception

Today I was playing around with the FM broadcast band and the reception is sub-par. The radio does not seem to capture the signal, instead it comes in in surges and it is unintelligible. I wonder if it is because there is no FM wide mode? Has anyone else experienced this? If you have, is there a solution?

There is a WFM mode. My R30 works great on the FM broadcast band.

You are right. I saw FM and FM-N so I was looking for FM-W. As you said, WFM works great. This was a mistake on my part but in my partial defense, I noticed this issue around 2am this morning. I should have waited until I had some sleep before trying something new.
