R5 Drops Comms

My R5 will lock on to a channel for about 5 seconds then drop the channel until it scans back around again. No priority is selected and it does that with full signal meter is pegged. Any help would be a big help..

Hi Skip,
Take a look at Page 44 in the R5 manual and check the Scan Pause Timer setting. It can be set for anywhere between 2 to 20 seconds or Hold. Hopefully this setting is your problem.

Found and fixed. I guess one has to real ALL of the manual. Thanks for your help!
