Radio ID's?

Hey all - just me AGAIN...

Could I get someone (or multiple someone's) to PM or email me some sort of radio ID listing for the DTRS? I'm running Pro96Com now, on yet a 3rd Pro-107, and I'm starting to see that it would help if I knew the radio ID ranges so that I know who is affiliating with which tower. I can predict some ranges just by the logs from Win500, but then I get some really different ID's that I don't know... I'd be glad to compile a list if multiple people send me theirs.

I guess all ID ranges would be good, but I doubt I'll really see any radios that aren't from zone 2...

Next questions - does either Win500 or Pro96Com allow saving of information with radio ID's? That way it would show an agency or something like that with the radio ID, instead of me having to remember it or look it up every time? Or am I dreaming again...

There is a list of radio IDs in the procom96 yahoo group. I will see if I cant find mine when I get back, if someone else has gotten one for you by then.

Once again, thanks to all. Exactly the information I needed for the radio ID's.

For the second part of it, I have discovered how to "tag" Radio ID's in Pro96Com, so I'm halfway there...

Chuck had a pretty nice list of RID ranges, but the one above is from 4 years ago and so much has changed since then.

Some ranges that listed "no radios" back then are full of usage and there are strange out of range additions in others. For example, the 1303XX range (or even 130XXX) is State but there is a lone Arapahoe County Sheriff*unit 1657 (RID 130328) that is inserted right next to other state radios (130327 is state 13 Ida 5 and 130329 is state MCS-17). So a range is a good indicator of who uses the radio but not foolproof.

Even those who have Pro96Com logs that are willing to post them somewhere or email them to those not in the area would be useful. I love to sift through logs and data files for useful info. I use ProScan data myself and I can match RID to actual transmissions that have call sign / vehicle usage info. So if an S.O. unit gets on a CSP channel for coordination, then I know by the call sign and identifying info when they talk, that it is not a state radio (as it would appear in Pro96Com logs), just because it is on a state TG.


It would be great if everyone was able to update what they have in one central place, like a Wiki page or something, but I have little experience updating Wiki pages.

I have about 350 (with call-signs and a lot of car #s) from State Patrol units (from 1A, 1C, 1D, 2B, 2C, 2D, 3A, 3B, 6A, and Ops-1), as well as many El Paso County FD/PD units.

Is anyone else still keeping a DTRS radio listing somewhat up-to-date lately?
