Radio Shack PRO 197 / Buffalo PD question .

Using a Radio Shack Pro 197 to monitor , Digital Buffalo Police . anyone using the same , can you advise me of the best , Expert Settings recommendations you can give me for the clearest reception. looking at - SQ. WAIT / RF SQ. FADE / DG int PRIME ,etc . thanks for any help .

If you plan to monitor anything analog on top of Buffalo PD, set DG Int Prime to 10. The only caveat to this is any conventional P25 channels will need to be selected as P25 under the squelch settings in the object programming, otherwise you'll just hear digital noise.
