radio shack pro 433

scanner will not scan freqs..would do so previously after initially turning on then abruptly stop..i would turn off for short while then turn back on and would work properly but now will not scan does so slowly but doesnot pick up freqs.

Hmm, sounds like a inside the radio problem. Do you know if any lighting hit nearby or if a power surge happened? It kind of sounds like a problem I had with a Uniden scanner, I never did find out what was wrong with it. But I was guessing it was some kind of hardware failure.
