Hey guys, maybe one of the experts out there can help me out.
I just picked up a part time job at a retail store...Canadian Tire...for some extra hours..
We use Quantun 705 radios..
http://www.wirelesssource.ca/products.php?product=Quantun-LMR
They operate in the 400 to 470 Mhz range...16 channels. Now, I brought in my 346XT and keyed up the mike, and sure enough, it stopped on 464.500 Mhz..however, I cannot hear anything when I speak into the radio over my scanner. Is this some new tech that cannot be heard, is it some kind of trunked system? How would I know?
Just curious.....
