Greetings and Salutations,
I have a friend that has an old 1(series) DMR number that needs to convert to 3(series) which is a self help item once you log-in to the website.
Now for the problem, the email address he used, ohhh so many years ago. According to the Support page, just send Support a copy of your FCC license and the new e-mail address and they will update the email address, then user changes the password, logs in and presto. Easy right? Except the website wants to send an email to the user at the e-mail address on file, so they can contact the user at a dead/unkown email, and until that verification is done the user can not send in their license and new e-mail to get profile updated.
Try and request a new DMR id? cant because the callsign already has an id.
Direct email? no, because RadioID wants everything to go through their support portal.
Whomever at RadioID set up their support system created an inescapable "do" loop with no avenue to break out of it, because there is no avenue to get around an inaccessible e-mail. If there is anyone from within RadioID that follows the forums here.... HELP!!!!!!!
