I purchased both my Relm MS200, Pro-96 and BC246T thru the web and had no problems getting them into Canada. Actually, I don't think I've ever paid duty on a scanner... just taxes and (grrrrrrr) UPS brokerage fees. I will throw out a job well done to Scanners Unlimited though. I've bought those last 3 radios from them and had them within 3 days, no problems at all. One of the radios I recently purchased from them... Glenn suggested a UPS overnight priority shipping package that included brokerage. It was a great deal... cost about $35 or $40 US... I had the scanner the next day with no brokerage charges.. Just taxes. That would be my biggest warning to anyone shipping a scanner (or pretty much anything else for that matter) into Canada via UPS. There brokerage charges are brutal. I highly recommened shipping via FedEx or even USPS if it's an option. I try to avoid UPS whenever possible.
